Peter Hafey was an Australian stand-off, playing in the local leagues in Newcastle NSW when he paid his own way over to England alongside team-mate Justin Barr for trials at Featherstone Rovers in November 1984. Hafey stayed for the rest of the season, playing for the A team, as well as filling in as first team cover twice, before heading home to Newcastle.
