Biography
A Dewsbury born hooker, Roy “Bustler” Firth signed for his hometown team before playing four seasons at Hull FC. He then had three seasons at Bramley, part of their famous BBC 2 Floodlit Trophy win in 1973. With Keith Bridges injured, Rovers tried Roy Firth at hooker on a month’s loan before heading back to Bramley.
