Promising young prop forward Sam Eseh came to Featherstone for the second half of the 2022 season on loan from Wakefield Trinity, after having had an earlier loan spell at Barrow. He caught the eye with his work-rate and offloading ability and won the Championship Young Player of the Year at the end of the season.
