Scott Wheeldon actually made his professional debut for Featherstone Rovers as a promising young forward on the books of Hull FC. 13 years and almost 300 games later his career came full circle when he re-joined Featherstone for 2018. His long career had taken in stops at both Humberside clubs, Castleford, London and Sheffield. He added weight and drive to the Rovers pack over two seasons, despite being hampered by a long-standing knee injury.
