Biography
A team half-back Sean Ward got just a single first team chance, such was the consistency and durability of incumbent scrum-half Deryck Fox. The final game of the 1986/87 season, away to Barrow, for an already-relegated Featherstone Rovers was hardly going to be a fair opportunity for Ward, and so it proved.
