Originally from Bradford, Stuart Reardon was at Salford when he came to Featherstone for a short loan spell at the beginning of the 2002 season. His modest showing at Rovers gave no indication that by the end of 2003 he would win the Harry Sunderland trophy as man of the match in the Super League Grand final, win England and Great Britain caps, at centre and at full-back. A move to Warrington wasn’t a success and he finished his professional career with a number of seasons at North Wales Crusaders in League 1.
