After the sale of Steve Nash to Salford, and an injury to Phil Butler, Rovers were short of an experienced scrum half so York agreed to loan Tony Sullivan.  He played a couple of games before the signing of Peter Banner and the return of Phil Butler, eased the problem and Sullivan returned to York.
