Ty Fallins was a young unheralded Australian scrum-half when he headed to England to try his luck in 1996. He developed his game in Featherstone’s reserve team and in 1997 was ready to step up and displace Deryck Fox in the first team. 1998 was a stellar year for Ty. A virtual ever-present in the number 7 shirt, he helped Rovers to the Grand final and within a whisker of Super League. He shared the kicking duties with Richard Chapman and finished the year with 192 points. He then headed home to Australia to play for Cooma Stallions in NSW.
