After starting his career at Hull KR, Will Jubb made his name at York, playing 177 games over eight seasons before switching to Featherstone in 2025. Before the season started he had a specific role marked out for him as starting hooker and middle defender, rotating with Connor Jones in the role. And to his credit, that was exactly what Jubb produced, starting 30 of the 32 matches, offering correct service from acting half, and a high work-rate on defence. At the end of the season with the club in administration, Jubb was prepared to stay, but when it became apparent the club would not play in 2026, he left and joined Goole Vikings.
