Featherstone Rovers beat Batley Bulldogs for the third time in four weeks after picking up a 28-18 victory at the Millennium Stadium. It took 17 minutes for the deadlock to break, and it was Rovers who got it, as Craig Kopczak managed to get over. Craig Hall converted to put them ahead by six points. Just three minutes later, Fev went further ahead as Kris Welham finished off a good move to score. Hall missed the conversion, but they were still in double figures. Batley managed to hit straight back, as Tom Gilmore did well to get through. Gilmore then added the conversion to bring them within four points. Past the half hour, Fev were back in control as Frankie Halton powered over. Hall was again off-target with the conversion, but they went back ahead by eight. The hosts would add one more before the break, as Nu Brown kept up his good start at his new club with another try. Hall missed again with the conversion, meaning it stayed a two-score game.

Featherstone started the second half well, and extended their lead early on, as Gareth Gale finished well in the corner. Hall missed the conversion again. Just before the hour, Batley pulled another back, as Lucas Walshaw rose highest from a kick to score. Gilmore scored the conversion to bring them back within 10 points. Four minutes later, Featherstone scored again, as Junior Moors crashed over for his first try with his new club. This time Dane Chisholm slotted the conversion to put them ahead by 16 . However, the final word went to Batley, as they created another try when Ben White broke free and put Jack Logan under the posts. Gilmore added the conversion.
