Featherstone Rovers made sure they retained their 100% record to the 2021 Championship season as they thrashed Bradford Bulls 44-0 and retained the Peter Fox Memorial Trophy for the third time. Arguably against the run of play, Rovers were the first to strike. James Lockwood broke through numerous tackles before offloading to a grateful Connor Jones who made no mistake, Craig Hall added the extras. Just three minutes later and the heavily involved Craig Hall was this time the scorer after a break from Thomas Minns. Then Rovers top try scorer this season Gareth Gale increased his tally. He got over after some fantastic initial work from Hall again. Loanee Will Dagger was the next to go over. A fantastic burst of pace see him breakthrough the Bulls defence and stretch the Fev lead to 18 points to nil. A memorable moment for Craig Hall followed as he kicked his 400th career goal.  Minns became the next scorer  as two minutes later he was able to get over in front of the Post Office Road fans following some initial magic from the effervescentJohn Davies.  That was it for the first half where Rovers went through a startling 25 minute period and went into the break with a commanding 26-0 lead.

It took until the 66 minute mark for the second half duck to be broken and Will Dagger this time turned provider for Tom Holmes to get over for a simple try. Hall added the extras successfully taking the Rovers score to 32-0 before Dean Parata continued his excellent form by getting over. A great piece of footwork ensured he evaded the attempted Bulls tackles to get to the line. Craig Hall was once again on target with the boot.  The final try of the day was the pick of the bunch. A superb individual effort from the youngster Callum Field to skip past three tackles and end the match in style. Hall converted to put the scoreline at 44-0. This sealed an eighth win in eight games in the league for Rovers.
